The Canon Theatre is an exciting new performing arts venue bringing renewed energy to the region’s cultural landscape. Developed and guided by CECI, the theatre reflects a shared vision powered by strong community and regional support, dedicated leadership, and significant investment in the arts.
Currently undergoing a full renovation, the 560+ seat theatre is scheduled to open this fall for live performances, community events, and cultural experiences. Inside, the guests will find modern amenities including a bar and concession area, state-of-the-art sound, lighting, and production technology, expanded seating for improved comfort, restored architectural details preserving the theatre’s historic charm, and a fully updated dressing room for performers.
